Kris Nelson is a multi award winning singer songwriter based in WA’s Great Southern. Drawing inspiration from esteemed artists such as Passenger, Bright Eyes, The Lumineers and Elliott Smith. Nelson has delicately crafted a sound that captures the essence of folk’s heartfelt storytelling with indie’s captivating energy.

With over 15 years of experience under his belt, Nelson’s original music has allowed him to tour as far as Canada, The US and many times around WA and the Eastern States.  

Picking up a couple of WAM’s prestigious Song of The Year awards helped cement him into the WA music scene. Landing supports with Australian heavy weights such as Josh Pyke, Kav Temperley, Alex Lloyd, Karnivool, John Butler and most recently The Rubens. 

His debut single clocks was released in November 2023, which will be followed up by multiple singles and an album release in 2024. Three tracks from the upcoming record have already been nominated for multiple awards including: Best Regional Artist, Best Folk Song and Best Folk Artist.

South-coast based musician and singer-songwriter Adam Grok brings his own blend of ambient blues, roots and soul to the airwaves.

He’ll be playing what he describes as “organic original songs inspired by land, life and love,” with a few tastefully reworked covers thrown in.

Adam exudes a deep passion for music, a passion that has seen him perform at many of WA’s premier live music venues! Joined by violinist, Marie Limondin, the pair create an unstoppable folk-roots duo, perfect for a Sunday session set at The Dam.

Stellar Moon is Monique Le Lievre, Nyikina woman from the Kimberley. She delivers diverse songs with a strong flavour of Soul with hints of rock, funk, blues & folk. Empowering the audience into inner revolutions through songs about modern-day rebellion, such as, loving yourself & standing up for yourself, connecting to country and healing.

Monique (Stellar Moon) is no stranger to the stage, with a long career spanning 20 years fronting popular cover bands and now branching out as a singer songwriter. With strong stage presence and a powerful soulful voice, she is a natural performer who connects to her audience well.

Stellar Moon has played at several local festivals and supported Australian greats such as Daryl Braithwaite and The Waifs. She successfully toured 15 shows through WA in February and is currently releasing a string of singles. Her anticipated album will be released at the beginning of 2024 ahead of another extensive tour which includes WA's premier 'Nannup Music Festival'.

This New Years Eve at The Dam we’re hosting a free and fabulous family-friendly event. This twilight concert will be run in our natural rock amphitheatre from 5-10pm, so bring along a picnic rug, sit back and relax and enjoy an amazing line-up of local live music til late.

No BYO drinks as The Dam is a licensed venue. The Dam Restaurant and Bar will be open for service, offering a family-friendly festival-style menu and our signature Sativa cocktails.

Olivia & Reuben De Melo are the husband and wife duo, doing music and loving life! Known as one of Perth’s music industry power couples, those lucky enough to have seen and heard Olivia & Reuben live know it’s an experience not to be missed. Their ability to mesmerise with their soulful voices and lyrics while giving you a taste of their versatility and love for all genres is pure passion.

Keeley Connolly has worked over the past 8 years as a touring artist and recording engineer, performing alongside some of Australia’s most beloved talent. Keeley plays delicate and purposeful indie music which subtly changes how you feel, leading her to sell out venues and backyards across the country. 

Hailing from Fremantle, Chloe Schofield’s soulful harmonies, organic acoustics, and delicate instrumentals are good for the spirit. Her music reaches people through emotional intricacy, intense vulnerability and a sense of humour that carries the listener through it all.

Fusing a blend of psychedelic rock, afrobeat, reggae and pop, Grace accompanied by her 7-piece band conjures a bewilderingly huge sound of authentic island grooves complemented by guitarist dense layers of Afro – guitar sorcery.

On arrival embark on a guided tour by local expert Synjon Anstee-Brook and his trusty team of hounds as we unearth all things truffles. Discover the inner workings underground and learn facts in the creation of this mysterious black fungi, growing in the depths of Denmark’s winter as we set off rain, hail, or shine.

Return to the warmth of the restaurant, The Dam at Raintree, and cosy up by the fires as you sip on a signature truffle infused cocktail by Master Mixologist, Sam Jeffs.

David Rastrick is a trumpet player, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, song-writer/arranger, band leader and session musician from regional south-west Western Australia. David specialises in jazz whilst versatilely diversifying into music such as reggae, R&B/soul/funk, rock, pop, blues, folk and classical music, and occasionally musical comedy.

Melum Australis are a brother sister duo formed in Southwest Australia; the name in Latin translates to ‘Melodies of the South. Working underground for the past year, Melum Australis is emerging like a flower in spring for a great Northwest Tour, with big dreams to see the state. Collecting inspiration from reflections around them, their music is filled with musings from nature, and stories of the road they’ve travelled. A performance from Melum flows between guitar, banjo and piano melodies, overlaid with two voices intertwining uniquely to deliver enchanting sounds, melting together to warm your soul.

Based in Perth, Western Australia, Sue Bluck soulful sound is unique and distinct with a jazz/soul/blues edge. Sue’s melodic voice and tone captures every audience. Upon hearing her music it will have you wanting more.

Raised in the dust and heat of North West Australia, Joel grew up playing to rough and rowdy mining pubs in the town of Karratha.  At age 16 Joel was supporting Australian music giants like Hoodoo Gurus, Daryl Braithwaite, Jon Stevens, Diesel, Russell Morris, WA legend's Birds Of Tokyo, The Beautiful Girls and more. When Joel was 17 he spent a year as an exchange student in Brazil and upon arriving home Joel's energetically electric sets grew, as did his songwriting ability. Joel's mining protest song, "Home Wanted", made it's way to ABC Radio National and won him a selection into the HeyWire program, an ABC initiative, to perform at Parliament House to the then Minister for Education and ultimate king of protest, Peter Garrett, frontman to Midnight Oil. Joel's career as an award winning actor hasn’t kept him from performing or writing and after hit stage appearances across Australia in 2019, his debut acoustic EP, Boy On A Wire is here.
